As far as further advice, I am not a “marketing guru” by a long shot. In fact, for my next in house app, I have a marketing partner to handle those details. The truth is that I ma just a developer. I can try to spread my self out and just be “ok” at everything or I can focus on what I am good at and have other experts help me with the rest.

You may well be in the same position. It sounds like you have a team from your pronoun usage. If you are all developers, I suggest finding someone who can handle marketing for you. Make them a part of your team.

Marketing is hard work. Cold calling, emails, campaigning… It IS a full time job. To be done right, someone needs to be committed to it full time.

Anyways, we’ve submitted it and while we’re waiting for it to go on sale, I was wondering if you had any further tips on how to publicize it or how to get it reviewed? I know you mentioned to send it to blogs and stuff, but do you know any that are very receptive to this? also, i would like to hear your opinion or suggestions so i can send you a code if you’d like.
